Jaq was introduced to Lior’s music through the Hush Music Foundation. Lior is a contributing artist to their album A Piece of Quiet, and while Jaq was working on a picture book for the Foundation, it was suggested that he would be a compelling subject to paint. Given the Foundation’s extraordinary work supporting children undergoing cancer treatment, Jaq was keen to meet a musician so closely aligned with the cause. She quickly became a fan. His music crosses genres, unified by a single, enduring thread: heart.
