Painted from the Gothic Quarter in Barcelona, this urban landscape leads the eye towards the sky, the buildings angled.

As you walk through the narrow lanes all above you is an amazing labyrinth of detail and often neglected as we walk with our head down watching the path.

Not landscape in the traditional sense, this work is the landscape of our modern world, yet ironically from a time past showing buildings dating from medieval times, some from as far back as the Roman settlement of Barcelona.

This fine art print by artist Jaq Grantford is created using archival inks on museum grade art paper. The original work in oil paint on canvas has been professionally scanned, making the printed image as close to the original as possible. It is hand-signed and numbered in pencil, under the image on the front by the artist.
