Born in South Sudan, Jeffah Thabach was separated from his parents at the age of six and sent to a refugee camp in Ethiopia, where he spent 22 years in various camps. Despite these immense challenges, he pursued an education, built a family, and forged a life of resilience.
Today, Jeffah works as a Project Officer at the Centre for Multicultural Youth in Victoria, Australia, and is a devoted father of six. His work focuses on combating racial profiling and supporting those in need.
Jeffah’s story is one of faith, perseverance, and the simple yet profound desire to create a life of safety and opportunity for himself and his family.
