Elena Kats-Chernin and New York
Last year the painting I did of Elena Kats-Chernin was a finalist in the 5th International Figure Painting Competition, which was held in New York.
So on my way back from Iceland, I dropped past. (Nonchalantly said, huh?)
I understand why they made all those t-shirts in the 80s saying I love NY (with love as a pink heart before emojis even existed) because I do love NY. It’s bustling and full of energy and life. And the art galleries! Don’t get me started
